මහනුවර ඓතිහාසික ඇහැලේපොළ වලව්ව තුළ ස්ථාපිත ඉටි රූප කෞතුකාගාරය විවෘත කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (17) පෙරවරුවේ සහභාගි වීමි. නාගරික සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය විසින් ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කරන ලද ඇහැලේපොළ වලව්ව දළදා මාළිගාවට පවරා දීමෙන් පසු පුරාවිද්‍යාත්මක සහ සංස්කෘතික වටිනාකම් සුරක්ෂිත කර ගනිමින් මෙම කෞතුකාගාරය නිර්මාණය කර තිබේ. කෞතුකාගාරය විවෘත කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව, එය නැරඹීම සඳහාද එක් වීමි. கண்டியில் உள்ள வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க எஹெலேபொல வளவில் உள்ள மெழுகு அருங்காட்சியகத்தை திறந்து வைக்கும் நிகழ்வில் இன்று (17) காலை இணைந்து கொண்டேன். நகர அபிவிருத்தி அதிகாரசபையால் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்ட எஹெலேபொல வளவு தலதா மாளிகைக்கு கையளிக்கப்பட்டதோடு தொல்பொருள் மற்றும் கலாச்சார விழுமியங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காக இந்த அருங்காட்சியகம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. அருங்காட்சியகம் திறக்கப்பட்ட பின்னர் அதனை பார்வையிடவும் இணைந்து கொண்டேன். I had the privilege of participating in the opening ceremony of the Wax Museum this morning (17), held at the historic Ehelepola Walawwa in Kandy. The museum has been established with the objective of preserving the site's archaeological and cultural significance, following its restoration by the Urban Development Authority and subsequent handover to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Following the inauguration, I also toured the museum to observe its exhibits.
